Gabby's is not a nice, safe neighborhood bar. There's been lots of trouble there for at least the past year. Incidentally, it has a deck that looks out over the Mississippi River.

University Avenue(Route47) is nearby and the disappearance are often linked to both students and the number 11.Maybe he went to school there ,was abducted there or they left something of his at that location.

You are right, Gabby's has a reputation, alright. In an article on Kare11.com on 9/29/07, dozens of protestors picketed outside of Gabby's to bring attention to a noise problem that has been plaguing them for years. After Gabby's closes on Thursday and Saturday nights (their drink special nights) "patrons continue to party in the residential area nearby...neighbors say they've seen patrons fight, do drugs, vandalize property, urinate and defecate on lawns, and have sex in public." Gabby's has hired off-duty police officers as well as cleaning crews to deal with the problem, but it hasn't helped the situation.
