James Beasley's family reported him missing on July 5, 2007 at approximately 2:33 p.m., after the 20-year old failed to return home from a Fourth of July party at a residence in a subdivision off of East Irlo Bronson Memorial Highway in Kissimmee, Florida. Witnesses at the party indicated Beasley was drinking heavily.
Beasley's body was found the following day in Fish Lake.

Recovery and Investigation
On 4/6/07, Sheriff’s deputies patrolling the area near Fish Lake found a body floating in the water. The body was James Beasley. Osceola County sheriff's deputies are investigating. Based on the information detectives have gathered so far, the death is being investigated as accidental at this time. An autospy will be performed to determine the exact cause of death. Further information will be released as it becomes available.
Public expresses frustration
Many internet commenters have expressed frustration at the sherrif's department that this investigation has not been moving along more quickly, or that the public has not been updated about any findings thus far. Many believe this was not an accident.
Coincidences
Like Scot Radel, James Beasley was also from St. Cloud (but Florida, not Minnesota). Like Tony Luzio Jr., he also disappeared on the 4th of July.
