11/06/02: Michael Noll, 22, Eau Claire, WI

Michael Noll, 22, was last seen when he walked into an elderly woman's house in the early hours of November 6, 2002. He wasn't seen again until his body was spotted protruding through thin ice on Half Moon Lake.

Details
Noll left the Nasty Habit Saloon on Water Street between 11 and 11:30 p.m. on November 6, 2002 after celebrating his 22nd birthday. Later that night, he apparently entered a home in the 1000 block of Oxford Avenue near Grace Lutheran Church near the Chippewa River. An elderly woman at the house talked a man fitting Noll’s description into leaving, but he dropped a baseball cap that was later identified as Noll’s. Noll was not seen again.

Over four months later, someone spotted the body of Michael Noll protruding through thin ice on Half Moon Lake on the west side of the city. His family does not believe foul play was involved.

Wow! Your site contains so much info. We just had a college guy, Josh Szostak found in the Hudson River on 4/23/08. People are trying to make connections to others across the country and all the way back to Patrick McNeal found in NYC in the 1990s. They all fit a similar profile and I'm looking for the work of Det.s Gannon and Duarte because they too believe all of this is related. Keep us posted. Thanks.

Noll was probably instructed to drop the the baseball cap at a specific address because the killers leave clues.Noll might have thought it was a game but did not know it was a game of murder.

It's the same name but not the same lake. Todd went missing in Casnovia.

Craig Burrows went missing and was found in the same lake. Craig and I use to play in the lake in Elementary school. There wasn’t much current at all in the lake. As soon as I heard where he was found I said No Way. Wouldn’t have happened.
