Eric Munsell |
The body was sighted by a passerby in the water on Wed., April 23, on the north side of Long Wharf facing Christopher Columbus Park and Commercial Wharf. The area had been the focus of the search for the recent Boston University grad. Video footage near Long Wharf had indicated that he had last been in the area.
Further details will be announced as they become available.
On Feb. 8, 2014, Boston University graduate Eric Munsell disappeared after celebrating his 24th birthday at the Market Lounge in Boston's Financial District. His mother, Mary Lynn Mills, told WBZ-TV that a bouncer had asked her son to leave the club around 11:30 p.m., apparently because he had tripped on his way to the men's room. He was ejected from the club shortly thereafter. Eric's friends first realized he was missing around about ten minutes after he failed to return from the restroom.
Staff did not allow Eric to get his coat before leaving the club. The low temperature in Boston that day was 18 degrees. He has not been seen since. There has been no activity on his cell phone or in any of his bank accounts.
Eric's mother has traveled to Boston from her home in Georgia to search for Eric.

Eric Munsell is 6’1” and weighs around 160-180 pounds with brown hair, brown eyes, and a scar on his left cheek. He was last seen wearing a blue checkered shirt and blue jeans.

This does not look good. I'm thinking Boston Harbour even before I read this. For some reason this happens in Mass ONLY in Boston. Penn & NY have many cases like this. I am sad for his family and loved ones but perhaps this will end on a better note than what is usual...
Also, February seems to be the month in Boston. Franco Garcia and Eugene Losik come to mind out of the 7 I know of. 2 others in March (Dustin Willis & David Mark).
British Colombia...BAD things happen there whether of this profile or the missing in the rural National Parks and wooded areas profile. What's up with BC (Canada)? Many of the men on this site are HEAVILY from BC.
Yep. Just as I predicted. Though all one needed to do was look at the facts. Facts are stubborn things.
Eric was in my thoughts and prayers since I 1st heard he had gone missing. Tragic. Men matter too in USA. I hope people start caring and open their eyes.
I am not one for lawsuits but I hope his family sues the bar. Them making him leave without his coat or KNOWING he was over-the-limit may have saved his life. That was a super-cold day.
If applicable, I hope the coroners can check for "knock out drugs". Very sad and tragic. Very sad.
How often do transients drown? I find it hard to believe you can get a college degree but be unorganized enough to fall in water like so many of thesw cases.....weird part for me is i used to party on a golf course at night full of water.....and it was mostly dark....im still here to type twenty years later or whatever.....:)
It is in such poor judgment the bouncers kick these young men out of the bar with out their coats. It is inhumane.
The people that run these bars are outright rat bastards. Who makes somebody leave because they tripped? I still think the bars play an integral part in all this.

This murder spree is far too big and has continued for far too long to be the work of some small gang of serial killers. The
murders could be some kind of initiation rite or serve as a cover for other crimes including targeted killings where the true
motive needs to be cloaked or misdirected. This, in turn, indicates sinister sponsorship of some kind wherein the subjects are given both funding and training and some degree of immunity by well-placed members of a larger community of complicit individuals or even government itself. It should be apparent to all that the current police state we live in will routinely kill the Philip Marshalls, Michael Hastings, Gary Webbs and Andrew Breitbarts for the flimsiest of suspicions or fears. Trained assassins or killers are what this cabal of political criminals requires to stay in power. Is some secret department or agency of the government then responsible for these killings? I wouldn't be in the least surprised to discover that this is indeed the case.
@logger People get caught up on conceptualizing who the killer is. The real focus should be on the M.O.
Not every person who stabs someone is connected to other killers who stab someone. Just as not everyone who practices the smiley face M.O is connected to others who practice the same M.O.
People are using this M.O all around the world with varying degrees of success and they likely don't know the scope of others using the same M.O
